Flag Football Players
Mini Camp Details (FLAG Football)
Wednesday, August 16, 2017 (NOTE: The 2018 schedule is not yet available, last year’s information is posted as a point of reference for what to expect for parents who are new to the organization).
6:00 – 7:30 pm
LOCATION: Lancaster Ave (the outfield of the JV softball field & Jr high practice field). Parents should park in the High school parking lot by the softball fields.
ATTIRE: Tee-shirts, shorts, and sneakers (children may wear spikes if they have them). Bring a water bottle.
This is meant to be a FUN night for the kids. They will go thru some basic agility drills, and most likely do a little throwing and catching.
During this mini-camp, our Flag Coordinator and our other volunteer coaches will evaluate and start to split up teams as evenly as possible.
FLAG FOOTBALL PRACTICE
Regular scheduled practices will start the week of August 21st, and be held at the same location and time (6-7:30pm) for the entire Flag season.
At this point, it looks like we will have 4 teams (possibly 5), so 2 teams will practice Mon/Wed while 2 teams will practice Tues/Thurs). Your child will be assigned to a team after mini-camp.
The coaches will provide all the equipment necessary.
